At Havas, we are firmly committed to ensuring that all of our digital solutions are fully accessible to everyone, including people with visual, motor, hearing or cognitive disabilities. That is why we create websites and applications that are flexible to meet different user needs, preferences, and situations.
All Havas digital tools must pass accessibility audits to ensure that they are usable by different people with different capabilities. These audits take as a reference the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) criteria contained in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which require an AA accessibility level in certain aspects, such as:
For our accessibility audits we use Lighthouse, an accessibility app developed by Google. Lighthouse for accessibility helps to evaluate how well a website adheres to accessibility best practices, including those defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. It scans a webpage and generates a detailed reporting that highlights potential accessibility issues that could make it difficult for users with disabilities to navigate or interact with the site and solutions for an inclusive web experience. Lighthouse generates as well a score (out of 100) that reflects how accessible the page is.
Our commitment is to fix potential accessibility issues and to ensure that all pages achieve at least 90% accessibility in Lighthouse.
